Background
Niek Huttinga is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Computational Imaging Group in the UMC Utrecht, under supervision of Dr. Alessandro Sbrizzi, and Prof. Dr. Nico van den Berg. He received the B.S. (2014) and M.S. degree (2017) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands, with a specialization in Mathematical Physics.

His previous research projects focused on Computational Fluid Dynamics, and theory and applications of deep learning. His current research interests include motion reconstruction for MRI-guided radiotherapy (MR-MOTUS), mathematical modeling, and deep learning.
